Stations of the Cross Prayers
Walk with Jesus from His condemnation to His burial. This guide places all 14 Stations in order so you can pray privately, with your family or as a parish community.
Preparing for the Way of the Cross
1. Become still. Make the Sign of the Cross and place yourself in God’s presence.
2. At each Station. Read the Scripture and meditation, then pray slowly and attentively.
3. Walk in hope. Carry your intentions with Jesus and conclude by giving thanks for His saving love.

Jesus Is Condemned to Death
Jesus stands innocent before Pilate while the crowd demands His crucifixion. This Station invites us to resist injustice, defend truth and remain faithful when doing right is difficult.

Jesus willingly takes the heavy Cross upon His shoulders. We ask for grace to accept our responsibilities and carry life’s burdens with courage and trust in God.

Weakened by suffering, Jesus falls beneath the Cross but rises again. He teaches us not to surrender when weakness, failure or hardship brings us down.

Jesus Meets His Blessed Mother
Mary meets her Son on the road to Calvary and shares His pain in faithful silence. We remember families who accompany loved ones through suffering and loss.

Simon Helps Jesus Carry the Cross
Simon of Cyrene is drawn from the crowd to help Jesus carry His Cross. Christ calls us to notice suffering and willingly lighten another person’s burden.

Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments
Jesus is stripped and exposed before the crowd, yet His God-given dignity cannot be taken away. We pray for all who are humiliated, exploited or deprived of respect.

Jesus Is Nailed to the Cross
Jesus is nailed to the Cross and answers violence with forgiving love. We place before Him the wounds that bind us and ask for hearts capable of mercy.

Jesus Dies on the Cross
Jesus entrusts Himself to the Father and gives His life for the salvation of the world. In reverent silence, we adore the love that held nothing back.
Pray the Twelfth Station
Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross
The body of Jesus is lowered from the Cross and received by His sorrowful Mother. We pray for those who grieve and for everyone who lovingly accompanies the dying.

Jesus Is Laid in the Tomb
Jesus is laid in the tomb, and the world waits in silence. Even here, faith assures us that death will not have the final word and Resurrection is near.
Pray the Fourteenth StationLord Jesus, remain with us
Lord Jesus Christ, through Your Passion and Cross, strengthen us to carry our own crosses with faith. Teach us to recognise You in those who suffer and to serve them with compassion. May this journey lead us from sorrow to hope and from the Cross to the joy of Your Resurrection. Amen.
