These words remind us that faith begins with listening. Jesus knows each of us personally, not as part of a crowd, but by name, with all our strengths, weaknesses, and hopes. His voice continues to speak through the Gospel, the Church, prayer, and the quiet movements of grace within our hearts.
To follow Christ is more than believing in Him; it is choosing to trust Him each day, even when the path is difficult or uncertain. The closer we remain to the Good Shepherd, the more clearly we recognise His voice above the many distractions of the world.
Today, let us ask for hearts that are attentive and willing, so that whenever the Lord calls, we may answer with faith and follow wherever He leads.
