Alleluia.
O Mary, tell us what you saw along the way. The tomb I saw of the living Christ, and the glory of the Risen One.
Alleluia.
The Gospel Acclamation invites us to listen to the joyful witness of Mary Magdalene, the first person to proclaim that Christ is risen. Her testimony was not based on hearsay but on a personal encounter with the living Lord. She saw the empty tomb, but more importantly, she met the Risen Jesus.
This is the heart of our Christian faith. We are not called simply to know about Christ but to know Him personally. Like Mary, every believer is invited to move from sorrow to hope, from searching to finding, and from silence to joyful witness.
May we have the courage to share, through our words and the way we live, the same message that changed the world: Christ is alive, and He continues to bring hope to every heart that seeks Him.
