Alleluia.
Rejoice and leap for joy, says the Lord, for behold, your reward is great in heaven.
Alleluia.
“Rejoice and Leap for Joy, for Your Reward Is Great in Heaven.”
These words of Jesus remind us that our deepest joy cannot depend entirely on how this world treats us. Faithfulness to Christ will not always bring recognition, comfort or approval. Sometimes doing what is right will cost us something.
Yet Jesus tells us to rejoice because God sees what the world may never notice, the quiet sacrifice, the forgiveness that was difficult, the kindness that received nothing in return, and the faith that endured through suffering.
Our reward is not measured by earthly success. Heaven is our true home, and Christ Himself is our greatest reward. When life becomes difficult because we have chosen His way, we can keep walking with hope, knowing that nothing offered to God in love is ever wasted.
Alleluia.
