“The Lord has made known his salvation.”
Psalm 98 is filled with joy because God does not remain distant from His people. He acts, He saves, and He reveals His faithfulness in ways that invite the whole earth to rejoice.
This psalm reminds us that salvation is not something hidden or reserved for a few. God’s mercy reaches outward. His love is meant to be seen in the way He forgives, restores, strengthens, and brings hope where there was once fear.
There are times when we may struggle to recognize what God is doing, especially when life feels difficult or uncertain. Yet His saving work is often already unfolding quietly in the heart, in renewed faith, in forgiveness, in unexpected strength, and in the grace to begin again.
For Christians, this promise finds its fullest meaning in Jesus Christ. In Him, God has made His salvation known not only in words, but in a life given completely for us.
Today, may we learn to notice that grace, receive it with gratitude, and let our lives become part of the song of praise.
“The Lord has made known his salvation.”
