Response: “I kill and I make alive.” (Deuteronomy 32:39c)
These words remind us that God alone is Lord over all life. They are not spoken to inspire fear, but to awaken trust. The One who judges is also the One who restores. The God who allows us to experience the consequences of sin is the same God who never stops calling us back to Himself with mercy and compassion.
There are moments when our hopes seem to fade, our strength fails, or life takes an unexpected turn. This psalm assures us that no situation is beyond God’s power to redeem. He can breathe new life into weary hearts, heal what has been broken, and lead us from despair to hope. His power is never separated from His love.
As we pray these words today, let us place our lives confidently in His hands. The Lord who holds our beginning and our end is faithful in every season. When we trust Him completely, we discover that even our darkest moments can become the place where His grace shines most brightly.
