Today’s Gospel Acclamation invites us to lift our eyes toward the hope that God has prepared for those who remain faithful to Him. In the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we see the fulfilment of God’s saving promise and the victory of His grace. Mary’s life of humble obedience led her into the glory of heaven, where the angels rejoice in the work God accomplished through His faithful servant.
Her Assumption reminds us that our journey does not end on earth. Like Mary, we are called to live each day with hearts fixed on Christ, trusting that those who follow Him in faith and perseverance will one day share in the joy of His eternal Kingdom.
