At the heart of the Gospel is the incredible truth that God did not turn away from humanity when we sinned. Instead, He came to us in Jesus Christ, offering forgiveness, healing, and a restored relationship with Himself. Through Christ’s Cross and Resurrection, the door to reconciliation was opened for every person who is willing to receive His mercy.
But this gift is also a mission. Having experienced God’s forgiveness, we are called to become instruments of peace in our own families, workplaces, and communities. Every act of forgiveness, every effort to heal a broken relationship, and every word spoken in love becomes a reflection of the reconciliation that Christ has first shown us.
Today, let us thank God for His boundless mercy and ask for the grace to be peacemakers, bringing His love and reconciliation wherever He sends us.
