Whoever keeps Christ’s word, in him truly love for God is perfected.

This Alleluia reminds us that love for God is revealed not only by what we say, but by how faithfully we live His Word. To keep Christ’s word means allowing His teachings to shape our choices, our relationships, our forgiveness and the way we treat others.
As we remain faithful to Christ, His love gradually transforms the heart. The more His Word becomes our way of life, the more God’s love is brought to perfection within us. True discipleship is therefore not simply hearing Jesus, but allowing His Word to become visible in the lives we lead.
