Psalm 145:10 – 11, 12 – 13ab, 17 – 18
Response: “Your saints, O Lord, make known the glory of your reign.”
God’s glory is often made visible through ordinary lives transformed by His grace. The saints proclaimed His Kingdom not only with their words, but through lives of faith, mercy, courage, sacrifice and love. Their witness reminds us that holiness is never meant to remain hidden.
This psalm also speaks directly to us. We are called to make the glory of God’s reign known in our own homes, workplaces and communities. Every act of forgiveness, every kindness offered without expecting anything in return, every defence of the vulnerable and every faithful choice made when no one is watching can become a quiet proclamation that God is present and His Kingdom is among us.
The Lord is “just in all his ways” and near to those who call upon Him sincerely. We therefore do not bear witness by our strength alone. God Himself remains close to us, giving us the grace to live what we profess.
May our lives speak of Christ so clearly that, through the way we love and serve others, people may catch a glimpse of the goodness and glory of His eternal Kingdom.
