Following Christ has never been measured by comfort, but by faithfulness. Jesus reminds us that standing for what is right may sometimes bring misunderstanding, rejection, or hardship. Yet those who remain faithful are never abandoned by God. Every sacrifice made for the sake of truth becomes a quiet witness to His love and a step closer to His Kingdom.
The promise of Christ is both comforting and challenging: when we choose righteousness over popularity, honesty over compromise, and love over fear, we are already living as citizens of heaven. Our reward is not found in the applause of the world, but in the lasting joy of belonging to God.
