“You Have Revealed to Little Ones the Mysteries of the Kingdom”
Jesus reminds us that the deepest things of God are not discovered through pride, status or human cleverness alone. They are received by hearts humble enough to listen. The “little ones” are those who come before God knowing that they need Him, trusting Him with the simplicity of a child before a loving Father.
This does not diminish knowledge or learning. Rather, it teaches us that faith begins with humility. We may know many things and still miss God if our hearts are closed to Him.
The mysteries of the Kingdom become clearer when we stop trying to control everything and allow God to teach us. Sometimes the person who kneels before God saying, “Lord, show me Your way,” understands more about the Kingdom than one who believes there is nothing left to learn.
Today we ask for that humble heart: a heart small enough to receive what God is great enough to reveal.
