Alleluia.
Follow me, says the Lord, and I will make you fishers of men.
Alleluia.
Jesus does not simply ask us to believe in Him; He asks us to follow Him. That means allowing Him to shape the way we live, love, forgive and treat those around us.
When Christ called the fishermen, He did not wait until they were perfect. He took ordinary people and gave their lives an extraordinary purpose. The same is true for us. Whatever our work, circumstances or weaknesses may be, God can use our lives to draw others closer to Him.
To become “fishers of men” is not about forcing faith upon anyone. It is about living so faithfully and loving so genuinely that others can encounter something of Christ through us.
The invitation remains the same today: follow Christ, trust where He leads, and allow Him to make your life a witness that brings others closer to God.
Alleluia.
