Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel

“Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel.”

Psalm 117 is one of the shortest psalms, yet its message reaches far beyond every border: all peoples are called to praise the Lord because His love is steadfast and His faithfulness endures forever.

That is why the response, “Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel,” fits so beautifully. The Good News is not meant to remain private. What we have received from God is meant to be carried into our homes, workplaces, communities, and wherever life takes us.

Preaching the Gospel does not always begin with a pulpit. Often it begins with the way we speak, forgive, serve, encourage, and remain faithful when life is difficult. A life shaped by Christ can quietly proclaim the Gospel before a single word is spoken.

Today, may we ask for the courage to carry Christ into the world around us, not only with our words, but with the way we live.
