Let My Prayer Come Into Your Presence, O Lord
This responsorial psalm gives words to the kind of prayer we make when life feels heavy and God seems far away.
“Let my prayer come into your presence, O Lord” is not the prayer of someone pretending everything is fine. It comes from a heart that is struggling, waiting, and still choosing to turn toward God.
That is what makes it so powerful. Faith does not always sound triumphant. Sometimes faith is simply refusing to stop praying.
There are moments when we may not understand what God is doing, when answers seem delayed, and when our strength feels small. Yet even then, our prayer still rises before Him.
This psalm invites us to bring God the truth of what we are carrying. We do not need perfect words. We only need an honest heart.
And even in the darkness, we can trust that no sincere prayer is wasted. God hears the cry that reaches for Him.
