The response, “The Lord is just in all his ways,” reminds us that God’s goodness does not change according to the circumstances of our lives. There may be moments when we do not understand His timing, when our prayers seem unanswered, or when the road before us feels painfully difficult. Yet the Psalm assures us that God remains faithful, compassionate and just.
Psalm 145 reveals a God who is gracious and merciful, who cares for all He has made and who “raises up all who are bowed down.” His justice is therefore never separated from His mercy. He sees the person carrying a burden no one else notices, the family struggling quietly, the heart that is discouraged, and the sinner sincerely trying to return to Him.
Faith does not require us to understand everything God permits. It asks us to trust His character even when we cannot yet see His purpose.
May we learn to place our lives confidently in His hands, trusting that the Lord who sustains the falling and lifts the weary will never abandon those who seek Him.
